| Westwinds Golf Course
For over 40 years, this great 9-hole layout has been a hidden gem in the High Desert. Westwinds first opened in 1966 on the old George Air Force Base, then re-opened under the City of Victorville flag in 1996. Set back in the desert beauty of north Victorville, Westwinds offers scenic views of the Mojave River basin and Bell Mountain as well as panoramic views of Oro Grande, Apple Valley and Oak Hills.
Westwinds has become known as the local favorite for a golf experience that players of all ability levels can enjoy. The challenging 9-hole layout features separate tee boxes to allow play for 18 holes and also features a Junior set of tees for kids.
Leagues, tournaments, and golf outings at Westwinds are great ways to get friends, family and co-workers together on the golf course so be sure to take a look at what options are available for your group this year. Memberships are also available for those interested in enjoying Westwinds to the fullest. With an excellent driving range and putting/chipping greens, Westwinds is the place to come and work on your game as group and private lessons are offered to golfers of all ages and skill levels in addition to specialized events such as Ladies Day and Short Game seminars.
